Understanding the human past requires integrating archaeological evidence, human evolution and history, ancient DNA, palaeoanthropology, environmental and climate science, linguistics, cultural anthropology, and input from other fields.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The symposium will highlight Uppsala University&#8217;s intellectual heritage, high-quality research, and continuing commitment to developing new perspectives on fundamental questions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The intended audience is academics, scholars, interdisciplinary researchers and PhD students, but the event will be open to the general public.
